Wellness
Active aging promotes the vision of all individuals - regardless of age, socioeconomic status or health- fully engaging in life within all components of wellness: intellectual, physical, social and spiritual.
Research shows that an active lifestyle can lessen the challenges and increase the opportunities associated with aging. Active aging provides environments, programs and places that support individuals in living well and taking charge of their health and wellness.
Green Hills Community promotes active aging to residents and members. They enjoy the Aquatics Fitness Center as well as cooking classes, Wednesday church service, Matter of Balance and much more to ensure they have the tools they need for active aging.
