Green Hills Retirement Community is proudly supported by 12 area churches. The pastors of these churches along with 2 members of their congregation comprise a Council of Advisors. This Council and sponsoring churches promote Green Hills in the following ways:

 

· Support its mission and philosophy

· Assist with meeting the spiritual needs of Green Hills’ residents, clients, and children by providing

· Leadership with worship services

· Bible Study

· One-on-one visits

· Take advantage of volunteer opportunities

· Financially support Green Hills and its Pastoral Care program

· Assist with fundraising activities

· Be a leader in representing Green Hills to the community

Everyone at Green Hills is blessed to have a Chaplain on staff providing for emotional and spiritual needs. Our Chaplain leads and provides:

 

· Spiritual care with one-on-one visits to residents and ministry to their families

· Worship leadership for weekly chapel services, biannual memorial services, and special community services

· Presence and reflection at Care conferences and a Prayer Ministry

· Formal and informal Bible studies and small-group faith-issue discussions

· Coordination of worship services provided by local pastors and congregations

· Participation on Council of Advisors and the West Liberty and Bellefontaine ministerial associations
